Duck Marines is a cross-platform free software PC remake of Sonic Team's ChuChu Rocket.

Duck Marines attempts to recreate the magic from the local multiplayer of ChuChu Rocket while adding new elements like mini games, a level editor, colorful pixel art and more.

How to play

The goal of the game is to get as many ducks into the submarine of your color. Gray ducks give you one point, gold ducks give multiple points and pink ducks will trigger an event or mini game.

Guide the ducks towards your submarine by placing arrows on the ground. When walking over an arrow ducks will instead walk in the direction the arrow is pointing.

• Mac App Store is the simplest way to find and download apps for your Mac. To download apps from the Mac App Store, you need a Mac with OS X 10.6.6 or later.

Beware of the blue predators. Predators love to eat ducks and will kill a large number of your ducks if they reach your submarine. Try instead to guide the predators to the other players' submarines using your arrows.

Controls

• Controllers: Move cursor with left analog stick. Place arrows with the four face buttons or with the right analog stick.
• Keyboard: Move cursor with arrow keys and place arrow by holding space and pressing a direction.
• Mouse: Move cursor with mouse. Click and drag in a direction to place arrow.

Install instructions

Linux users: To run Duck Marines you will need to have the LÖVE framework installed. Get it from your package manager or from http://love2d.org/.

Bfxr is an elaboration of the glorious Sfxr, the program of choice for many people looking to make sound effects for computer games.

Bfxr has moved in the direction of increased complexity and range of expression. All the buttons that you know and love are here, but there are some new things as well:

DISCLAIMER: I had no part in Bfxr's development, I'm simply a big fan and wanted to get the program more exposure by uploading it to itch (with the creator's permission, of course). The program is super easy to use and has been a great way for someone with zero experience composing sound effects (like me) to create assets I'm happy with very quickly. In fact, at the time of writing, every game I've released with Virtually Competent has had nearly every sound effect created in Bfxr.

Thanks for having this up! Consider updating the version to 1.5.1 (on the main bfxr.net website available) - I think i updated it last year or something :)

Now that BFXR cant run because flash it out of date this is very helpful application

is because the software was made in Adobe AIR (A Virtual Machine For Flash) and it doesn't have a linux support, and it will never gonna happen because adobe sell Air to another company on the same date Flash dropped support (31/12/2020)

If you want to use the software on linux you have to download the original flash file and emulate on a adobe flash player for the system
